I love a good tomato simply cut up with a little salt and pepper. Or toasted with some goat cheese on a baguette. My favorite recipe recently is a Classic French Tomato Tart that David Lebovitz recently posted on his blog. I was lucky enough to use our garden cherry tomatoes in it and the flavor was incredible. I will definitely be trying some of your recipes too soon.Baking Midwifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05444539368770470428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11944565.post-61308707214614358612010-08-19T11:12:31.827-05:002010-08-19T11:12:31.827-05:00I so love tomato season, don't you? I've been oven-drying tomatoes for winter every time I have enough to fill a pan, which is practically daily. And I'm looking forward to a huge batch of ratatouille, probably next weekend.

And now . . .a few new additions to my list! Thanks, Alanna - I, too, look forward to the emails when you post!ToyLadyhttp://darksideofthefridge.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11944565.post-49681171770770623292010-08-19T10:04:09.324-05:002010-08-19T10:04:09.324-05:00The lesson I learned when there werent' enough...The lesson I learned when there werent' enough tomatoes to go around last summer was, to try something new. I've made the same tomato based chili sauce recipe since 1975. In 2009, I opted for a Pepper Chili Sauce recipe that only called for a few tomatoes amongst the dozens of peppers...Result? It's just as tasty and easier to make (sorry Grandma ;) )

Alanna, I thoroughly enjoy your recipes and look forward to the notification in my email.
