I've been searching for a while, and I think Benriner should include a storage case for these blades. The only thing I found was a holder for the blades and finger guard, but it is open, like a counter stand, with the blades just sticking up vertically. Not a great idea.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11944565.post-31966750985720770882016-03-23T00:00:40.002-05:002016-03-23T00:00:40.002-05:00For everyone who thinks or complains about it bein...For everyone who thinks or complains about it being HORRIBLE TO CLEAN!!!!! Relax, it's easy. True after a lot of use there will be build up in all the nooks and crannies off the slicer but a remedy is as close as your laundry room.
Take the blade, all the screws and knobs off the machine, then in a container that will fit the mandolin (long and narrow, combine water and bleach 5 to 1 ratio and put it in the container so it just covers the mandolin. Leave for a couple hours or overnight if it's a really dirty one and the next day, simply rinse off, wash lightly with soap and water, dry and your plastic looks practically new, trust me. As far as the hardware, that rarely gets that dirty and is much easier to clean with soap, water and scrub sponge. Make sure everything is dry before re-assembly and if you choose, lightly apply a little mineral oil to blade with paper towel and if you have a benni with metal knobs apply to those as well.
This is also a good opportunity to re-sharpen your blade on a stone or steel if you have that ability and training, other wise you can get blades at AMAZON!!!

Link Below (copy & paste)
http://www.amazon.com/Benriner-Replacement-Blade-Flat-CBV04001/dp/B005INEGIQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1458708947&sr=1-1&keywords=Benriner+Replacement+Blade

SurfinchefAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00196755662819877799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11944565.post-62147760622849095902014-09-21T21:01:07.472-05:002014-09-21T21:01:07.472-05:00Cathy - I love the idea of a travel toothbrush hol...Cathy - I love the idea of a travel toothbrush holder to store the blades.
